Yup. Very realistic depict

It is one of Adam's flaws, but not the only one. He is a selfish degenerate that ruins a good life by a)gambling b) paying for an apartment on the side for his young mistress c) spending more on said mistress than his wife d) conning anyone close to him

He does all this when he could a) drop the skank b) drop the aparment c) trade in his mercedes for a honda etc

I think the ending was appropriate because at no point did he ever deviate from his depravity. Had he not been shot, he would have just kept going down the same path and before long, he would be hustling to save his own life agin.

People yelling at each other and a Jewish guy with a gambling addiction combined with the most annoying soundtrack to be added to a drama.
