I don't really know what else to say, but after I heard it got excellent reviews at a film festival recently, I'm curious and intrigued.

Maybe Sandler is heading back into "Punch Drunk Love" territory?

And...is this a crime thriller? He definitely seems to be going out of his element. I like that, because as much as the younger me liked Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore...the older "30's" me likes when Sandler actually challenges himself, because he can do well with good directors and pull off some solid work. He can surprise you every once in a while.

We'll see.

Glad to see him back on the big screen again after many years, not so much heard in a cartoon like HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, (which doesn't have a current sequel this year..) but even better, and best of all, in LIVE ACTION (and yes, the PUNCH DRUNK LOVE territory..we know he did others like that..)

I can't stand Adam Sandler, at all. His comedy doesn't work for me and I've never seen him in a dramatic role. He looks real good in the preview for this movie, though. I will be seeing it.

Adam Sandler is great in dramatic roles. Check out "Reign Over Me" sometime. I look forward to seeing "Uncut Gems" too!
