How do you think the story will coninue with Elio and Oliver?

I can't wait for the sequel. I think they meet again but both keep being distant to each other. Oliver is still married and will be having kids, so as I think. But then there will be one moment where they will have a night reunion and can't hide their feelings any more. What do you think?

I heard that the rest of the book also deals with AIDS. Does one of the characters contract HIV?

Oh OK, I guess I got some wrong information from someone. AIDS was such a big thing in the gay community back then that I wouldn't be surprised if it does somehow become part of the sequel.

the most recent response from A. Hammer is that they are currently working on it and it's supposed to be unrelated to the book, ie the boys meet in 5 years and it goes from there..supposedly it will have an AIDS angle to it which i hope is not true since it will totally change the tone of the first movie. I actually hope it will focus more on Oliver's perspective since we've only really heard from Elio. Despite all the critical acclaim the movie only did so so at the box office so Im hoping that it will bring all the fans out and be a big success...ie CMBYN 3#!
