Underrated Scenes
I'm not trying to say The Peach Scene and The Father's Monologue at the end were overrated but their greatness may overshadow some of the other awesome scenes like:
The Goodbye Scene At The Train Station - I'm very anti-melodramatic and thought this scene was great. No words were spoken but you could feel the powerfulness of the scene based on how Elio wouldn't let go of Oliver during their hug, how it made Oliver sadly smile and how they looked at each other after both knowing it was the end of something very special. It reminded me of the goodbye scene in Lost In Translation where Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray say goodbye but you can't hear what they say.
The Underwear Scene - It was acted out perfectly by Timothée Chalamet going from curiously walking around the room to smothering his face with the underwear and thrusting on the bed. It was less tantalizing than The Peach Scene but still elicited immense feelings of longing and desire.
