Wide Shots

One of the notable formal features of this film is its many wide shots, allowing the viewer's gaze to move freely about the frame and choose what/whom to look at during any given moment.

Although this didn't work as much for me because I still couldn't take my eye off Timothée Chalamet's nearly phantasmic beauty. ;)

What about you? Who was your object of desire?

To be honest, I was trying not to get pulled in by the characters...but that final scene when Timothee is sitting in front of the fire...all my guards came down and I fell in love. Such beauty in his range of expression all throughout the movie, especially that final scene. He stole my heart
