Ugh I can not wait.

Ok I would love it if we could do a predictions/ guessing game board/ What you want.

So here's how it goes. Guess what you think the outcome could be and what makes you say that.

Rotten Tomatoes score: ?
Box Office: ?
Golden Globes or Oscar Nods:?
General IMDb Score: ?

For me I would say:

Rotten Tomatoes score: 49%-93% but hoping for anything above 85% to be honest. Armie has been doing some interesting roles and he needs a big break to launch him further into the biz.

Box Office: Without oscar or noms at all it would probably be anywhere between 800,000-7million.

If it does Garner attention from the academy and awards circuit then 10-19million or more depending on critics and Audiences. It's such a difficult subject so who knows.

GG and Oscars: most likely if it does, Best Original Score, If it has one, Best Original Song, best actor in a supporting role Armie Hammer and if timothee can go there like Elio then Best Actor for him. Maybe Best director and or Best cinematography as well.

IMDb Score: 5.9-8.1 depending on if the homophobes and trolls don't bring this movie down with their illegitimate 1 scoring.

What do you all think or want to happen ?

It is hard to tell now, because we haven't seen the trailer and the rating is not known. But I think the French movie Stranger by the Lake would be a great reference to estimate the box office and IMDb Score, I think both movies have a lot in common but Call me by Your Name will be bigger for sure because of the casting & director & having Sony as distributor, so just multiply it.

Box office: it depends on the number of cinemas/screens, it might be between $3 - 5 million, even reach to 8 million.

Rating: might be R rated, but Brokeback Mountain had no full frontal and explicit sex scene (at least to me) and still rated R, so the earlier cut/official cut will be R rated and we will see the special addition version might be different.

GG & Oscar, I think no matter what it will be Armie's big break, some are calling 2017 "the year of Armie Hammer", because he will have 4 major movies in 2017: Cars 3 (the trailer is already creating a lot buzz),Hotel Mumbai, Final Portrait (also based in Italy) and Call Me BY Your Name. I think it may not get nominations in acting categories, mainly in adaptation/screen writing, music and director, just look at the Brokeback Mountain.

IMDb Score: I think 6.5-7.5

Again I am just playing here, before seeing the trailer and movie, what we say is useless. I am hoping for the best and want to see Armie doing hot sex scenes & in nude, lol.

The SJW's in Tumblr is already calling for a boycott because the movie deals with statutory rape, which will definitely affect how the movie will be received. They didn't even read the book.

Because the SJWs in tumblr are the most unreasonable and insufferable people in social media. They have a hive-mind mentality. Once one of them unfairly attack a film, everyone will follow. One of them even acknowledge Italy's age of consent but no, it's still statutory rape for them because Oliver is american and thus must comply with the laws of USA.

what?!statutory rape? there is no rape in the book, they didn't even read the book and just come up with ridiculous reasons to hate on it. I am sure as soon as the movie premiers next week, things like this will clear out.
