Seriously fun

Soft horror and solid comedy. Loved it. It's a nice taper off before bed for my kids and I after watching Ash Vs Evil Dead. Not as gory since it's a comedy with horror elements.

Janet Varney is a delight and John C McGinley is perfectly cast as an older Mass-hole with deep routed bias. Casting was absolutely nailed. No surprise coming from the twistedly awesome mind of Dana J Gould. Can't wait for more

I agree. The only thing I had seen Janet Varney in before this was Burning Love, and she was hilarious. She's a perfect foil for John C McGinley. I think they both did a great job setting the tone.

Seriously not. Trash

McGinley is terrible in the role.

I agree it was a true horror show, that's how bad it was. It truly horrified me that this got past down the line and made into a show and then aired. It kinda makes you wonder what is going on in the head of the TV network. Hey guys, let's make a copy of Ash vs Evil dead but make it worse in every way. It'll be GREAT!

reply

With worthless effects, zero laughs and zero gore. Hey let's turn it into a kid tv show but put it on 10 o'clock at night. That'll fool them.

Just how many times can they re-do the Sheriff Andy Taylor - Barney Fife matchup?

My Chimp DNA seems to have lost its password temporarily. Sluggr-2

I agree. It's just what I wanted. Also love all the references to old TV shows and movies. Maybe it's for older people like me.

So far I really like the show. I thought the first two episodes were good. I'm looking forward to more.

YAWN!

I'm really enjoying it, too. It feels a bit like Todd and the Book of Pure Evil.

:D

John C McGinley is a perfect cast and reminds me of an R rated Dr. Cox.
