Anyone else annoyed that when you click on this show it automatically adds three other IFC shows to your recently viewed section? I don't care about any of those shows. I've seen them and don't like them. Why am I being beaten over the head with their advertisements? Just stop it IMDB. Just stop it.
shareThat's just a history of all the IMDB pages you have viewed. You can clear individual pages or everything by clicking on the link to the right that says "Manage your history".
shareNo they do add other shows like Documentary Now, which is a show i generally enjoy, but yea its weird for a minute i thought i had been hacked.
shareI use my history for quick access to check out chows I like so it pisses me off when I have to re look up something because the site adds two shows that I don't like every time I try to look at this one.
shareI see a section at the top that says "Also on IFC" and below that one it says "People who liked this also liked... ". Is that the info your referring to?

shareNow I see what you guys are referring to. I cleared my history completely, re-visited Stan Against Evil's IMDB page and voila, in my recently viewed history listed three other IFC shows (Portlandia, Documentary Now! and Comedy Bang! Bang!) which also happen to be listed under "Also on IFC" on Stan's page. IFC must be spamming these other shows because after I remove them they always come back when I revisit Stan's page.

shareI wondered how those got there! My computer shut off one day because the battery died & when I got it plugged in, I noticed those shows on my recently visited list, even though I've never been to those pages. Good to know it had nothing to do with my computer.
