Listen Buster, I dont understand your thinking. You are a genius. You made the best SOA series ever. Then you went and did The Bastard Executioner. Ok, we stayed right by your side on that one. It didnt last a year. So now the Mayans. Heres the question..... You know all we want is the First Nine. The Prequel. So why not just give us what we want? The references to SOA in the Mayans, was a mind fuck. You have the similar music, the dead crow, then your wife, Katie, as Gemma. Our Gemma. Right there in front of us.. And then wisked away. Whats your creative process with these decisions?
I need some answers by Monday morning, on my desk please.

I like your style, flowers. I just found SOA on Netflix and am binging (in S3) now. I don’t like the Katy Sagal-favoritism, but I am a red-blooded man and can understand what she leads her husband around by. But I love that you’re calling Sutter out, and using words of one syllable. I am proud that I am being such a bad influence on you😈

Plus, you take not shit from anyone. Bad influence . . . or maybe not . . . .😈

I am glad that you get me. Rare thing around these parts. Season 3 huh? The best is yet to come. I recall starting to love SOA around that season, so hang in there, you wont be disappointed. But you will cry in season 5. Its ok, real men cry too.

If you can hold off on watching the Mayans until you finish SOA, that would be best. I dont know how they might tie in the 2 but if they do, you wouldnt want to miss it. Still, I only watched the first episode and I am not captivated...but SOA was a slow burn in the beginning so I will keep going. Keep me updated on your thoughts on SOA. Its multi layered and the characters begin to grow on you. Theres an intense scene and story with Gemma but I forgot which season. You will have a whole new regard for her then. You will know what I am talking about when you get to it. Katie Segal sings Bird on a Wire in that scene. (as background music, not in the actual scene) let me know when you get to that.

It only gets better after season 3.... season 5 was mind blowing...dont put any spoilers here though, for people that are still watching...

I think 7 seasons but google that to be sure. Yes better and better until the end. Then all us fans were devastated that it was finally the end and we all needed therapy, just kidding. There were times it may have gone off the boil, as you put it, but dosent everything and everyone and life itself go off the boil at times? Hey I just woke up and this is what Ive got lol.
Bottom line, its a great show, and you must tell me when you get to the Gemma story line..Read comments above..no spoilers dont worry.

And now we got Happy showing up every other episode for 2-3 second spurts every 30-45 minutes, and Chibs was already mentioned--probably appearing sooner rather than later. It's all leading to something.

Yes The Mayans is nothing compared to SOA. Its really a let down for me, but I will keep watching in the hopes that it gets better. Having Angel and Easy having a brother to brother bonding episode last week seemed forced. I dont find the chemistry at all,,with any of the characters actually. But Sutter is a genius, so I am hoping the NEXT thing he does is a prequel to SOA.. We need to get back to that way of writing. This isnt captivating enough and its too slow of a burn for me.

Noone has to tell me that,,its apparent. My opinion only, but I love the guy. He was unfortunately fired from FX now, so who knows what he will cook up next. The Mayans got a bit better,,, but nothing compared to Sons.
