Big budget rumour, sources ?

To me The Grand Tour slooks like it has been shot and produced on a tight budget, yet the media has you believe Amazon spend huge amounts on it .

The locations, cars, diy projects, the cheap tent sets, meager content, cheap track, all seem to suggest the original BBC show had quite a lot more money to spend, and a lot more competent people to work with .

I kind of got that vibe. The tent is because they move the entire set everywhere they go which I'm sure isn't cheap

It is cheap, they reached a deal with DHL. In exchange for some advertising, DHL will move the tent and all that is needed to do the show in another country for free. They mentioned this in an interview I believe.

i tthink its well cheap - production wise-0r they are paying over the odds for poor crew and tech(amazon isnt experienced yet)

the problem is the wages the 3 are getting paid ,ten times that from the bbc)

despite evans top gear not working. he couldn't talk and drive or not shake !! joey was marginallly better but still not great - and to be great he needed chemistry big time with another

the bbcs production was pretty amazing imo.

much better than this.

without the bbc the lovable trio arnt as good and vice versa

bbc just pay them x amount, dont even get pc and tell us what they get)- the show will sell millions globally. or amazon buy the full rights of bbc, and buy the old crew.
