What do you make of the episode 7?

In my opinion the latest episode was episode where you can say that the trio are actually back because quite frankly even though the earlier episodes were not bad or anything but it just did not have that charm the three used to have in the TG days....whats your opinion?

I think the live segments seem a little scripted but they're on track with their trademark silliness and car ramblings. :)

I'm not sure why the tent "studio" segments are so stale and forced. Lots of awkward pauses and them sitting there looking generally uncomfortable. It's weird cause they've been doing this sort of thing for many years.

Yes i am with you on the tents and not just that but "The American" is such a stupid idea...fells like they are trying to get a driver exactly opposite of THE STIG, and don't get me started on the Celebrity Brain Crash..i hate that....and the over all scripted feel of the show just kills me from the inside..

I think The American was probably a really funny joke to them when they were sitting around pitching ideas for the show. Hell, it might even be funny on the written page. It's just terrible in execution. They might even know it sucks but just not have any better ideas how to liven up the lap times. As for Celebrity Brain Crash, that's just a full on filler piece to bulk up the show's run time. I truly have no idea why they're not interviewing an interesting car related person from each of the cities they visit.

I bet a lot of the awkwardness is they are trying not to fringe on copywrite (sp?) benefits from Top Gear.
