The music.

Cant they license any good tunes anymore, it seems so generic, in tg you could always point out a certain music from a film or some great punk rock classic, which brought out their character traits.
For example when they bring out their cars in EP 11 its just some 2 second jazz tune.

Music licensing is very expensive - even with a $160m budget, I'm sure they'd rather spend it on actual content than a few nice tunes, as some music publishers will try and charge the earth, especially if they know you have a big budget.

Of course, the BBC used licensed music regularly on Top Gear, but the BBC has always had a very close relationship with the music industry, and so is able to get ludicrously good deals on music rights.

So, in short, it's down to the Amazon deal-makers to start schmoozing the music industry a bit more. Or just buy out a few big music publishers.

I miss 'cue the music' for the A Team theme.

I don't know if there's different rules/laws for programs made to stream or if they're just saving a buck, cause i've noticed it now in a ton of different original streaming entertainment. And even when they do use a known song, it's often a cover by a nobody artist, rarely the original recording. It's far too prevalent to just be a matter purse strings.
