Overused "joke" is overused
"Does that mean he's not coming on then"
shareThat whole section shouldn't have lasted more than one episode. It would have been a nice one-off thing in the pilot, but it is, as you said, overused
Good luck, Captain. I think you're about to go where everyone has gone before
-- Susan Ivanova
It was slightly funny the first time they did it in the first episode.
But if I remember right, they did it THREE times in the first episode. And by that time, the joke had already died, been buried, dug up again, burned, and tossed in the sea.
I love it. I hope they expand on it more in season 2.
shareShould have had Kraftwerk as the guest. It is a car show after all.

I blame Stewart Lee. Repeat joke... funny, keep repeating joke... not funny, repeat joke long enough... allllll the way round to funny again.

The more you hate it, the more they will do it. That's how those guys are and the way that show works. They do not care about anything at this point. You are basically seeing three internet trolls given unlimited money to do a show.
