One of the most implausible things in this movie?

Does anyone else find one of the most implausible things in this movie is that an 8yr old Korean girl would want to learn, what's more even have heard of "Aloha ʻOe"(the song she was singing)? Just wondering.

What are you trying to say?

You foolish and musically-ignorant peasant, how dare you? Obviously you don't realize the rich and varied history behind that song. It was written in Vienna by Mozart during a particularly bleak period in his life.

During a severe depression, he left everything behind to travel to Hawaii, where he met his future muse, the daughter of a chieftain. Her name was M'akla Umpha Woey-Woey. It was for her that he composed the now famous song.

It sounds much different in the original version, played on harpsichord with string accompaniment.

Actually the song "Aloha'Oe"'s translated versions both in Chinese and Korean have become quite popular since the 90s. I remember growing up listening to this and singing "until we meet again". The song's translated lyrics was about saying good-bye to the ones you love and trying not to be sad for there is hope to see them again. The writers used this song in the film at the end to give the audience some hope I guess.

And also she FINISHED the song because she hadn't finished the song in class because her father wasn't there! She began singing it in the tunnel because she KNEW-even though he wasn't there WITH her in BODY-he would ALWAYS be with her FOREVER in spirit, and he had been with her to make sure she made it alive, and she survived, and carries on for him!And she WILL see him again someday!
