Good movie but are zombie movies a bit like Final Destination?

Train to Busan is a well made movie which I enjoyed a lot. In the year of the 'Handmaiden',Wailing,etc this is another solid addition to the list of good Korean movies.

But I was just wondering if almost all Zombie movies are a bit like watching the Final Destination movies. By that,I mean, form the moment the movie starts we are all playing a guessing game as to who would be the character/s who would survive in what is usually a bleak ending. Its usually the weak characters like a child or woman who survive while the hero/heroine save them by sacrificing themselves in the climax.

Is it time for a new possibility in Zombie movies?
