Couldn't really take the zombies seriously

The actors for the zombies made some really funny facial expressions. I noticed that this is to be expected with most of the fast zombie movies, they make some hilarious faces and look like they're trying to chew the air.

Would be scary if they were more blank faced.

Their movements were spastic and they "chewed the air" because they were basically blind and driven to just bite and bite, even if nothing was there. They seemed to follow sound, too.

People are complaining about the "wooden" human acting and then whine about the zombies being too animated? Make up your minds...

Yes, I know why they did it, it wasn't hard to figure the plot out.

It still looks goofy. The problem is how the actors were directed, not the concept itself.

I personally found them extremely creepy, these are the best zombies I've seen after the ones from 28days/weeks later.

They were totally rabid and deranged. I thought they were some of the scariest zombies ever. Most fast zombies in movies look and act mostly like a crowd of angry people, losing any real creepiness. The worst are those in low budget films where the director thinks white makeup on faces and red brushed over the mouth makes them look like zombies. Instead they look like clowns.
