what would an actual cat think of the movie 'Cats'?

My guess would be.. unimpressed

Cats are not above using excretory actions to convey their displeasure.

I would love to see a news story where some dude walks out of a showing and just drops trou and takes a dump in the lobby.

that would be a unique movie

reply

I think cats would like it.

Would not be impressed with humans being more stupid than normal.
I wonder what cats think of stupid youtube cat videos.

They might have this kind of reaction if you were to show your cats this movie:

Well, here's a sand cat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LWZ3WSsga4

Well I have a pirated version, and when I was watching it, my cat walked by, lifted it's leg and pissed on the tv.

I'm just kidding. I don't have a cat. It was me. I peed on the tv.

Cats' perception is tuned to high frequencies. They see TV as strobing bands of light above being able to interpret the subject matter. Also I suspect cats live in permanent "Resonator mode", a la the Lovecraft movie "From Beyond". So where we see Taylor Swift as a singing anthropomorphic cat, they see a strobing interdimensional aquarium of cthulhus.
