This is a fun show, with echoes of both Uncharted and Romancing The Stone.

I hadn't heard of it until I caught the first episode, and was surprised that it wasn't dreadful.
There are two strong leads, and some interesting choices, and I hope it does well.

Ok, so there is some ropey cg and some slight 80's cliches but it's not too bad.

Does anyone remember the old tv series that trod similar treasure hunting ground, with a title that was something like The Golden Monkey?

I was coming here to see if anyone had mentioned this and yes I agree

Even the music in the background seems like it was taken from the game.

Just a shame that Hooten doesn't come anywhere near Drake in terms of character

I thought that too! they put Nate Drake in with Lara Croft to make a show but neither are quite as cool but it's a fun show!

I also thought the music was from the game! I was like "wasn't that song literally in Uncharted?" lol.

its Funcharted, and should be on childrens BBC. They've seen butts before.

It comes off as Unchard, but in fact it's Uncharted rated PG7+.
