This movie was not nominated for a Best Picture Oscar but William Dafoe was nomited for Best Supporting Actor. That was the only Oscar nomination this movie received.

Couldn't disagree more. Such a realistic mirror on a certain aspect of society that it could almost have been a documentary. Hard to believe they were all actors. I really appreciated it. Sorry you could not.

Of course there's also thoughtful criticism and then baseless disparagement with nothing to back it up. Those are more like "trolls" than critics. There is a difference.
