Jamie Foxx showed his acting chops in this.....he really did....

As many others elsewhere are commenting, Jamie Foxx's acting really stood out in this movie. In this role, he ran the gamut of human emotions and did it so well.

I'm assuming this was filmed before his health issues, though if it was after, that is even better because it shows he has not lost a step.

Just did a Google search - this was filmed one year before his illness.

Agreed, Foxx was great. I really liked the movie. Courtroom dramas aren't really my thing, but this one was a pleasant surprise. 8/10
