Is the RUSSIAN Father Number FOUR???

Haven't seen Season One (because wasn't aware that it existed until finding Season 2 ... which unfortunately also isn't available to watch on FX ON DEMAND now).

So all one knows about the mother of the EMILY/ANGELA/PARWANA character is what this excellent article says about her ... which includes this very revealing description of her:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainment/news/the-old-man-10-biggest-twists-ranked/ar-AA1rAlxn?ocid=msedgntp&pc=ASTS&cvid=fce022ef83324245ba62f9b9d4dbd145&ei=72

Abbey eventually revealed to Faraz that she had been working with the Russians all along, albeit to help Faraz’s cause, and it was she who let the Russian prisoner go. She also revealed that there were great riches hidden on the land that could change the course of the war, and that is what the Russians were after. In a shocking twist, she then told him (and had earlier told Dan) that she knew where it was.
It also showed not only how steadfast Abbey was in her beliefs but also how willing Faraz would go for power.

Despite his insistence, Abbey refused to tell Faraz. Faraz didn’t so much as say he would do it, but he implied that if she did not reveal the location to him, he would have her tortured until she did. It was a surprising move, given how Faraz had seemed utterly dedicated to his wife up until that point. But it also showed not only how steadfast Abbey was in her beliefs but also how willing Faraz would go for power, proving Abbey's theory about him all along.

Belour Daadfar Is Abbey Chase

Abbey Was Never Who She Seemed

She seemed like the helpless wife of a rebel whom Dan saved from an unsure future. However, the big problem here is that she was not helpless in the least. She was playing Dan and Hamzad, and the foreign leader said as much in the second season when he said you can love someone or trust them, but not both.

Through it all, it seemed that Abbey was always playing every side for her own self-interest. She wanted to free her country from the Soviets, and she was very intelligent, studying abroad where she met Pavolvich. She went to Afghanistan and likely fell in love with Hamzad when they met him at university there, and they married. Then, when Dan offered the chance, she ran with him and seemingly fell in love with him as well, but she was never as she seemed to anyone she was with.

Abbey Recruited Pavlovich

Abbey Played Both Dan & Faraz

Abbey eventually revealed to both Dan and Faraz that she had been recruited by the Russians to work with them but had been doing so in order to help Faraz’s cause. She made it sound as though she was given an offer, and she saw the benefits and took it. However, it was later revealed when Dan met with Pavlovich decades later that it was actually Abbey who seemed to have a hold over everyone, including him.

It also gave viewers deeper insight into just how clever, cunning, ruthless, and determined Abbey truly was, having a plan set in motion even long before she married Faraz.

He implied being in love with, or least mesmerized by her at one point, only to realize that she had cultivated him years in advance until she was ready to use him to help her husband win the war. The revelation made Dan wonder if she had been doing the same to him the whole time they were together. It also gave viewers deeper insight into just how clever, cunning, ruthless, and determined Abbey truly was, having a plan set in motion even long before she married Faraz.

Since the EMILY/ANGELA/PARWANA character has "Freckles" on her face, is it possible she's actually the daughter of the more "Pale Faced" RUSSIAN, which would mean still another revelation is in store for us regarding her paternity???

If so, couldn't that also mean she's NOT DEAD, because the Pavlovich character that her mother recruited may have also gotten her mother pregnant instead of her getting pregnant by her husband Faraz Hamzad???

Therefore, the Russian Pavlovich character would probably also see to it that what he believes to be his daughter remains alive during the raid on the family of Hamzad???

And could that also mean at some point she'll be the one to INHERIT the land with all of that LITHIUM on it that's worth BILLIONS???

Yes?

NO???

MAYBE SO???

Even though we don't know HOW or WHY she survived the massacre, we do know she's alive, which is also confirmed by this article that reviews what takes place in episode 7 of S2:

In the final scene of the episode, we see Pavlovich meeting with other members of the cartel, trying to downplay the Meshbahar mess. Through their dialogue, we now know that Pavlovich’s men have been completely eradicated by a local tribe, and control of the deposit has been lost. As we expected, Parwana, alive and well, is leading the tribe.

In other words, the theory that the RUSSIAN might be FATHER number FOUR is still a possibility. Because WHY else would he have allowed her to survive after he's slaughtered all the rest of what she currently assumes to be her relatives???
