Well, Syfy.com calls it a "rumor", but I hope it's true. MacGregor is always good, and I suspect Obi-Wan led a very interesting life between RotS and ANH.
shareGood to point out the rumor aspect...pretty sure I mentioned it in the thread on TLJ board but knew I was remiss on this one. I think it is fair to point out that everything is speculation until Lucasfilm deems fit to state otherwise.

Absolutely could be a film project for his own collection...could be Disney sent him there as a distraction. Or it could be that the division of the fan base has caused Disney to re examine some of the practices that lead them to this point. Love or hate TLJ...one must admit it has been the most divisive film in the saga. Bringing Lucas on board, bringing JJ back, hiring the GOT show runners...all feels like posturing...but it does feel like the posturing of those who are ready to take thing seriously instead of for granted...or maybe he just likes the food in Belfast LOL!
