Episode 7 (Spoiler)
Having Nicole removed like that seemed way over the top. this part of the story makes little sense to me.

shareI agree. I understand that Nicole’s mum was worried about her, but what a brutal way to get her help. That might have screwed her up more than she already was. It was obviously set up so we would think Ryan/Matty and Frank were coming after her in that scene.
But what a tense episode! It was jam packed, something was happening to everyone on the show. Looks like Chance’s work with Winter wasn’t futile after all. I hope Frank gets his comeuppance.
Lucy has a horseshoe up her patooty. She’s safely away from Winter, again.
A lot of revelations in this episode but with enough questions to keep us coming back.
Will D be arrested? Along with Chance? Or will Chance’s cop girlfriend join then.
Where is Lorena? It doesn’t bode well for her.
How is Nicole going to cope in the psychiatric facility? Will she ever forgive her mother?
Is Lucy ever going to want to date again?
I'd have to disagree with you there. Nicole was way, way out of control. Who wants a kid like that around, and who can predict what she would do? I saw the moment when she got so mad and physical with her mom .... and that cannot stand. You cannot live in a house afraid of your own child, even though you want the best for them and for everything to be OK.
Now, I would agree that the way this happened, like a kidnapping was not right, and I think it is not legal, certainly not without her father's consent or knowledge ... but that is the dramatic TV show part of the story.
Yes, I didn’t mean it was wrong to get her the help, just the method that was questionable, so we’re in agreement. I think her father could have convinced her to go in voluntarily.
I also wondered about the legality of it all.
Yeah, seems like legally, if this was legal, the mother should
get agreement or at the very least notify the father or her intention
of sending the daughter out of the area. That was ridiculous.
On the other hand, the daughter was out of control and was known
to react violently. As a parent one should not and can not tolerate
a violent kid in their house. We read about this violence in the news
every day. So, being generous, let's say that she was in fear, and had
to do something right away, but knew if she called the police they would
put this on her record, and it would lead back to jail.
So the mom wanted her out and away from a troubling environment
as fast as possible. So, maybe this was available to her, so she took
it. But ... Nicole was on parole, so what about her just disappearing?
This was not explained or done well, and maybe messed up the whole
plot.
More problems with that too. The Jail has a video or should have had
a monitor in there. Blaming the girl for getting in a fight with a nutcase
who must have been known to be a nutcase, and cannot have just attacked
Nicole, was bad writing.
Agree with 100% of what you say. A lot of the writing about Nicole is unbelievable, particularly what happens in episode 9, which I won't spoil for anyone who hasn't seen it. She can't become Supergirl the way D is Dark Angel.
