Pretty decent low-budget fantasy movie
Checked this out last night and actually enjoyed it fairly well.
I remember watching the original Dragonheart way back in the day when it first came out. I don't remember much about it, but remember thinking it was pretty good. I never did see any of the sequels/prequels until this one.
I can't really comment on how well it stacks up with the rest of the series but on its own I enjoyed it enough that I don't regret watching it.
I'm not sure exactly what the budget was, but for a direct-to-video film the production values are surprisingly high, the acting is pretty good, and you can never go wrong with Patrick Stewart even if you're only getting his voice.
I understand this is the fourth in the series. I wonder if we'll see a fifth.
