To me it feels like a high fantasy retcon with sets filmed using architecture that is built centuries after the proposed Dragonheart timeline was!
shareYeah, historical ancahronisms are all over the map. The first film was not entirely innocent in that regard either, but at least the internal logic was consistent. I'll still watch it, but so far, the writer does not seem to have paid much attention to the original film at all.
