Motherhood Unappealing
I can't think of any woman wanting to be a mother after watching this movie. Your body gets ruined, your children are wretched, your husband is unloving - I'd be checking into the convent!
shareBusiness is booming at Planned Parenthood thanks to this movie. I think the real movie message is this: Be sure you have money. Lots and lots of money. Then motherhood isn’t so bad lol.

I also got the impression Theron was saying something about her own life. Seeing how she adopted, it's not so much about the physical toll of child birth as the mental toll of becoming responsible for another person. We become less sexy with age regardless.
