Will be very interested to see who she works with now since Savides has left us, sadly.

This seems like it will be the return to Sofia shooting on film and Lance was her go-to for that, but I don't think they have the best relationship? Would love to see her get back with Ed Lachman (Virgin Suicides, Carol, Far from Heaven).

is Lance the one from Lost in Translation? Why you think they don't get along?

Lance made both, Lost in Translation and Marie Antoinette. I wish they could work again too.
I wonder if she's going to shoot on film or digital.

And he also shot her short film "Lick the Star" (1998).

Wouldn't film suit more than digital for this subject (which takes place in 1863's Mississippi)?
