Interesting Timing
I had to laugh when I saw this is in production still. Not so much that it's a remake, which may or may not compare to the original. But the fact it's coming out when Donald Trump is becoming president! Can you say 'daddy' Miss South Carolina? LOL To paraphrase Marshall McLuhan - it's *beep* surreal when you think about it. The medium has fast become mediocre within the maelstrom of mandates (pardon the pun in regards to the movie) The political bias Sophia could put into this movie could be a powder keg. Or, she's got a fave place in her heart for the original and wants to update it is all? It shall be interesting either way. LOL
