It's a remake of a movie with Clint Eastwood circa 1971. That would've made him about 41 years old at the time.
But Michael Fassbender seems all wrong for the part.

I think Michael Fassbender is a great suggestion.

I was thinking maybe Brad Pitt although I guess that might be kind of weird since he's known Kirsten Dunst since she was a kid.

Chris Hemsworth would be good.

Scott Eastwood probably isn't a big enough name.

I can see Chris Pratt working too.

I loved the original with Clint Eastwood. Brad Pitt would have been perfect in this remake imo.

Pitt is old, isn't he about 60 now?

Hemsworth and Scott are not very good actors nor are they very charismatic.

No more Fassbender, he has worn out his welcome with that silly smirk acting of his. Someone new should be in this film.

@Chason_S I completely agree. He has the sexiness required for the character and he's also an amazing actor. Love BP, TH and MF but they're all wrong for this role.
