I get this is a book and all but why not make something different that isn't copying like most of what Hollywood does now. They can't even come up with their own crap so they remake. The Clint Eastwood one was frigging a classic and well done. Hollywood should really look for other books to turn into a movie instead of remaking movies. Sick of this crap. Same old same old, the remakes usually are all utter garbage anyways and a huge waste of time to even watch or make

So true. Just seen the new trailer & the scenes from the trailer appear to be scene for scene a copy of the original.

Absolutely agree. The original was a really great movie; darkly sinister and well, beguiling..lol. I think its tone was even better because of the time period in which it was released. I also liked it because it was a departure from Eastwood's typical genres and characters.
