Hi everyone, I found another website called The Movie Database (easily confused with IMDb). Like IMDb they have discussion boards for individual films, TV shows, actors, etc. They seem to have just opened up these discussion boards because most of them don't have many discussions going on. With IMDb sadly closing down its boards hopefully we can move our discussions over there. I posted a link above.

Thanks for this. IMDB has been a part of watching movies for as long as I can remember. Where else can you go to look up comments about an old obscure movie with Gene Hackman? Just tragic that they would disable comments which means the site will pretty much end. Hopefully this new site becomes something. Whether it's Santa Clarita Diet or The Affair, it's fun to go read other people's comments about a show.

I know! The message boards are the biggest draw. Where do you go when you've just watched some old movie and want to talk about it, or see what other people have to say? Where else do you find people who really love movies?

Ah, thanks! I've been looking for a movie site that has discussion boards for each movie etc. THAT'S what's fun with IMDB. Looking up posts of fun-facts, discussing plot holes, trivias etc for the obscure, little known movie you just saw, that would never be mentioned in "ordinary" movie forums. The posts that has a new reply every two years or so, whenever a new fan drops by.

Let's hope the IMDB fans embraces a new movie site, and make the forums come alive.
