How tall was Christie?

Ive always wondered this, in photos he looks rather slim and tall...in fact athletic in build with broad shoulders. This would tie in with him suffering back problems, but both Attenborough and Roth are short so their physical portrayals probably not great, imagine a taller actor playing Christie. Was he tall though or just looks deceptively tall in pics,

Ok thanks, smaller then I thought. He does look short here in comparisson to the police with him though they were a lot taller in those days.

Keep in mind police in the Uk at times measure you in shoes so he could have been smaller then Average height as well
