For a corrections officer she sure seems timid and naive and completely clueless about "pod culture" or whatever. She walks around looking scared and spends all that time in the corner digging around her bra and doesn't think that would look suspicious to the other inmates. As a CO she is trained to know how to read people, read body language, and how to subdue a violent inmate. Look at Quintin, a former cop who exudes confidence and respect (he walked into the pod looking like he was already pod boss and no one bugged him) or even Tami from last season, she was nuts but she wasn't afraid of anyone. Are we sure Sheri was ever a CO?

I don't know about that. She was clearly intimidated several times and had to get other people to get her shoes for her. She's also one of (if not the only one) to break down and cry.

Sheri is clearly clueless. She should have known she'd be under a microscope. She was probably a CO at some tiny Podunk jail where all they deal with are drunks and an occasional domestic.

I was thinking the same thing.....if she truly is a co she should be much more well adjusted to the environment there....she must be/have been the worst co on payroll if she is acting so much like a fish outta water lol....I'd like to know how true her story of supposedly being a co actually is....

Tami wasn't a cop, she was a security guard. People found out the truth about the participants from last season.

She was probably a CO that didn't have to do anything alone or spent most of her time in an office. It's easy to act tough when you have a bunch of tougher guys and women backing you up. Now she's alone and scared. Lol

the look on her face is perpetual terror and shock. " I don't do drugs, I mean i do adderall". Isn't her story that she got caught with prescription drug? she has already proven she doesnt know what shes talking about. they are either going to think shes a rat or just a really dumb girl.

I also find it HARD to believe she was a CO. Like I don't actually believe it. It must've been a juve center for mentally challenged children, and she must've really sucked at it. I can't even with her and this season just started.

I really find it hard to believe. She acts totally surprised by the most simple things that are actually pretty common/standard in jail. As well as being so terrified, to the point of admitting that she feels "weak."
