There are some things I DON'T UNDERSTAND!

I love this show but I am so confused about the following.....

1. How do the producers keep the show going when relatives, friends, and associates of the inmates are watching them on television? Wouldn't inmates get phone calls after the show airs? How is all this kept a secret?
*I spotted a couple of inmates from the previous season and I thought that was pretty odd.

2. The inmates are allowed to watch tv shows like American Horror Story in jail...WTF? It's jail!

3. Why would they allow fights to continue happening in the jail but if someone covers the cameras they will be placed in a solitary confinement cell?

Season 2 was filmed before season 1 aired so no one knew anything.

Dunno what to say about that other than they probably want to give them things to do since there is no rec time. Idle hands and all that....

Camera's cover most of the open areas but not everywhere. I've seen the cops come in fairly quickly when fights were started. The real question is why the hell would they have cameras everywhere except a few spots, knowing that those few spots are where the fights are all going to take place?

There are inmates in there that have a long stretch to do so seeing them again isn't real odd.

The footage they filmed is aired later, this jail is stupid and lax so they let watch what they want, the CO's don't care what the inmates do to each other. They only rush in on the open fights to save their asses, and they pretend like the hidden fights don't happen even thoough they're loud.

Yeah, this place needs to be shut down. Or all the CO's and higher ups need to be replaced.

Here's a question: The pod cam video is one thing, but what about all the close-up, ultra clear, zoom in/out video of the females tattooing and smoking stuff. Illegal and Sheri is going "deep undercover" to reveal it, yet apparently a camera crew is welcome to tape all the criminal activity as it happens. Some of the filming is from the back of the cells and you know a film crew is roaming around taping all the secret inmate stuff.
