Dion was acting da fool

I got so tired of Dion crying and acting like a criminal when all he or anyone of the subjects could have used the code and leave which leads me to believe their being paid to complete the program

Agreed!! When he started crying I thought it was so ridiculous. It's like he's brainwashed himself into thinking he's an inmate and he fits right in...

I agree!
When Sheriff Maples had said about Ryan that he was instigating and could potentially cause an uprising, I was confused. Ryan was trying to get the sick inmate help, and was very aggrivated when nothing was happening. Sheriff was making it sound like him trying to help was a bad thing. Yet the whole time it was Dion who was specifically talking about wanting to start a fight, he feels like he is being treated like an animal, and if they wanted to rise up..they sure could.
To me, Dion was the one to be a bit more leary of, not the kid who has been actually "attempting" to help other inmates using his real world experience. Sheriff said something to the effect that the guy only had a 24 hour bug, which wasn't as bad as Ryan saying it was his apendix. Silly me though, I would take the word of an experienced army/combat medic over a regular everyday prison guard any day!

We know they are getting paid, and I think it is per episode not for the entire season (I don't know for certain). Do you mean you think they are getting an additional "bonus" if they actually complete the season, on top of the pay they are already getting? That could be a possibility!

I can't die! I have 43 twitter followers that depend on me! oh, and I have a daughter.

Of course they are being paid! Why else would anyone agree to get locked up for months?
