modern, thoughtful, fairly real life in contemporary urban US...

I am positive in the subject line because i find many of the negative critiques to be shallow and immature. I like the show, though the "stammerspeech" and overuse of "like" gets a little annoying....i bet a few careers will get enhanced from the mix of more veteran actors with those less known. Well acted short stories.

I'm three episodes in and I'm in love with it and I was completely unsure of how the story would proceed after the first episode. The budding romance in episode two was so sweet that I dare the biggest cynic to take a polygraph afterward and deny the smile inside.

I like that the show isn't afraid to carry a positive message, when everything great these days seem to be rooted in negativity. I'm not trying to come off as someone who hates darkness in their entertainment, as I do quite a bit. It's just like a great escape and I don't feel the impending doom that I do in most shows when something is finally going well for the characters.
