Kate is morbidly obese with an ugly personality. There's no way a woman like Kate will find herself in a triangle with one man who desperately wants to marry her and the other thinking she's "sexy as hell" wanting to jump her bones. Straight up foolishness.

It is ridiculous and foolish to be so one-dimensional that you judge people based upon their appearance. We all have our likes and dislikes when it comes to the appearance of a significant other, but it doesn't give us the right to judge others based upon appearance.
Another person stated an obvious fact that it seems several others here have missed: People like who they like. We may not "get it," but we each are drawn to others for our own reasons, some of those reasons don't always even make sense to ourselves.
To criticize and judge others over how they look to you is prejudicial and ignorant and to fall back on some phony excuse like - well, we all know that it's not healthy . . . is still telling of the type of person you are.
Who wants to "see" themselves being judged by strangers? Not anyone including you so why not find a different topic?

As for the unkind comments about her personality . . . how many people remember who Kate was at the beginning of this series? She was the long-term door mat for her handsome, successful brother Kevin. That was just downright sad, but I could see how a person could have fallen into that role given the family dynamics. I was really pleased when we saw her break free of Kevin and begin to consider what she might want out of life.
I feel that she is still struggling to discover just who she is apart from Kevin. I like Toby very much, but I do hope that they are not rushing into marriage before Kate has more time to explore who she is, what she feels and decides what kind of person she really wants to be.
