Watch The Selection instead

It's much better, doesn't pretend to be anything more than it is, has actual SF operatives vs actors, and you can actually respect them when they speak.

This show is just standard let's glorify and hero worship the military because we are the best, everyone else is evil and must be killed nonsense.

reply

Why would I want to watch more "reality" show crap?

reply

It's better than this crap.

reply

Cause it would keep you from writing bs soap opera navy seal shows like this..sweetheart

reply

Ahhh, we've got a tough guy keyboard warrior. Does it offend you, sweetheart?

reply

No

reply

I didn't see glorifying and hero worshipping the military.

I saw a bunch of flawed characters who have struggles and repercussions because of what they choose to do.

(Case in point: Would the guy who's a main terrorist over a group now have gotten there if Rip hadn't killed his brother?)

But, to each their own.

reply

Negative...his brother was a terrorist. Free will each man chooses his path...if he's willing to die for a flawed moronic cause and his brother joins out of vengeance than double tap. No terrorist should live. No quarter dequello.

reply

I bet the Red Coats said the same thing.

Double tap those damn treasonous yanks.

reply

...yeah only we were the insurgents back then, and boy did we "kick your arses". The sheer brutality we Americans are capable of, while the brits took formation in line was a like shooting fish in a barrel. Now we're allies (hint Churchill)
But back when we were militia we really took scalps. And the rest is history. Your getting on my tits mate". Lol

reply

I agree in free will and having a choice. But the reality is that other people's choices affect the choices we make. They are still our choices but they are impacted by others.

Yes, the brothers had come over and joined the terrorist group but they were still basically scared young men who might have amounted to nothing.

However, seeing his unarmed brother shot by Americans turned the other brother into a determined hardened terrorist and leader.

Still, his own choices, but someone who was shaped by other's choices and not in a good way.

I'm not saying Rip is responsible for what the guy became but he did shape the guy's life in a fundamental way.
