Sorry, but this lacks thr great sacrcastic face and deep voice of the mighty Patrick!!!

It sucks!!!!!!

I agree, this was not funny, the actor was weird, not funny, the story was dark and NOT funny. Did the writers and actors even research The Tick? Very disappointed that Amazon would waste this opportunity. I only hope they take another shot at it and do it right this time. Bummed.

Pretty sure the writer researched the Tick, seing as how he invented the character.

It still sucked without Patrick! You aren't a tick, you're a cockroach!!!!

Yes, yes. Your name is SpongeBob and you like Patrick. Yawn... Your overdone joke has fewer notes than an alarm clock. Next.

The darker tone was in line with Edlund's comics. Several scenes, like Tick looking for secret triggers in Arthur's apartment, were great callbacks to the animated series. Peter may not have had Patrick's chin, but he had the Tick's voice and attitude. Patrick was just Patrick in a blue costume.

I didn't want to like the new guy, he's certainly not built like the comic or Warburton's versions but he's got the delivery down cold, won me over.

reply

Because you are s LOSER!

It SUCKED BIG!!!!!!

I agree that Patrick epitomizes the Tick but that is hardly Peter Serafinowicz's fault and I think they did a good job with the pilot. I'll definitely be checking it out if it gets a series.
