I've done some post-production contract work on this movie. And from what I've seen of it...it's an utter masterpiece.

It's going to be an absolute WAR for Best Supporting Actor between Robert Downey Jr (Oppenheimer) and Robert DeNiro here. (Even Jessie Plemons might garner a nomination, he has some great scenes in this one.) But I'd imagine it's going to be a hotly contested vote between RDJ and DeNiro for the Oscar trophy.

Not many people know much about Lily Gladstone...but everyone will after this movie...she steals quite a few scenes, even ones with DiCaprio in them. You will fight back some tears during one scene, a battle I lost. I can't imagine she doesn't get a Best Actress nomination too.

I'm not sure what voters will make of DiCaprio's performance...I think best actor is going to Cillian Murphy this year...but to me, Leo was great once again.

Best Picture at the Oscars will come down between this and Oppenheimer, no doubt. (Well, I shouldn't say "no doubt"...this is a group that chose "Shakespeare In Love" over "Saving Private Ryan" and "Hurt Locker" over "Inglorious Basterds" after all!) Actually, Napoleon might have something to say about all this. I haven't seen any of that one though. But from the looks of the trailer...meh.

Can't wait for the theatrical release...Killers of the Flower Moon will be an all-timer.

Looks intense and intriguing. The brief glimpses of Dinero’s acting reminded me of him as a mafia gangster. And I guess this movie also involves organized crime (just not of the Italian mob variety). The war chant in the first trailer about drove me crazy though. Hopefully they don’t relentlessly play that in the real movie like they did in the trailer.

Hmmm, because I 'spoilered' myself by reading about the real events this movie is based on, the next sentence is under a spoiler blanket again.
Yes, William Hale (Robert De Niro) was a kind of mafia boss but without any honour.

Robert deniro has never went down hill so fast...he opened he mouth publically. Cant believe how dumb he is...

You're gonna have to explain to me how you tell the story of the Osage (obviously a story you're not familiar with) without talking about how the white man was certainly bad in this situation.

And, let me guess, you don't like DeNiro because of...politics? How boring. Do u ever think of anything else? Is it all politics, all the time?

If you can't separate your political views (white man = good, always) with a great historical true story, I feel bad for you.

Sadly for me, like many other critically acclaimed movies, I will have no interest in it because it will be dull as Hades to me. I use Oscar nominations to determine what to steer clear of.

I know people that worked on it and they've all said the movie is absolutely massive and looks incredible. It will undoubtably be a masterpiece.
