Why on EARTH would Gina go home after stealing over £800,000??? (I know it's dollars, but I always convert to pounds so I know how much they're talking about)

She could've hidden her passport anywhere on her body beforehand, then gone straight to the airport. It was an unnecessary risk and these people are SUPPOSED to be clever con artists.

I hate being taken out of an entertaining drama by a glaring wtf moment.
I wish the writers would've come up with a more believable way of her being caught by Fonso.

Oh well.
Looking forward to a Season 2.

I agree. It was just too easy for Fonso & it was hard to suspend my disbelief. But, still glad the bitch got what was coming to her.
I liked the show but sadly, for me, there wasn't a single person I could rally behind. They were all (besides the son) all a bunch of lying cheating scumbags. I know we were supposed to love the main character & he's the reason I started watching the show to begin with but they never could make me want to see him succeed because he was still a cheat.

...that did not make any sense to me as Linda would have been just a few minutes behind her.
A good con artist would not have headed to the local train/bus station or airport but lay low for a few days and then sneak out of town.
