ABC has cut the struggling freshman drama’s Season 1 order from 13 episodes to just 10, TVLine has learned. A network insider, however, maintains that the ratings-challenged series has not been cancelled. The source adds that all 10 episodes will air and the show remains in consideration for a second season.
Great News! Fingers crossed that they give it another chance to see if they can develop the show a little more before they consider cancelling it!! I'm personally liking it
shareOh thank fark. Trying to catch up on this show in the worst time with end of year exams. Just a relief to hear it's not cancelled. Now I am back to looking forward to dedicating my time to it. Such an incredible show with great chemistry between the characters and the tempo of it is keeping me on the edge of my seat. What amazes me the most is that they seem to incorporate just the right amount of heart in this racy crime drama. A serious show that is deep and thoughtful, how refreshing.

shareYeah, but whenever a season gets its episode order cut, it's effectively cancelled and known as "Dead Show Walking." The piss-poor ratings don't help at all either.

javajuly - I wouldn't even try to figure out how these networks think and/or I don't understand this either - I LOVE Notorious and HOPE its still has a shot! Conviction is CANCELED! Again, I did like this show b/c I like Atwell esp. as Agent Carter, but I just love these kind of shows w/juicy story lines about murder, rich people in trouble for the murders, tabloid crap, mystery, etc... but if I had to choose one it would've been Conviction to go b/c its too much "Scandalish" w/the "fast-talking" but I did love Conviction's lay-out background of how they switched to next scenes - it was great!!! BUT.... PIPER IS MY GIRL SINCE "COYOTE UGLY" AND OF COURSE THE SHOW "COVERT AFFAIRS"... NOT A BIG FAN OF DANIEL SUNJATA THOUGH; NOT EVEN ON RESCUE ME, AND I LOVED THAT SHOW! I LOVE THE WHOLE CAST OF NOTORIOUS BUT SUNJATA I COULD TAKE/LEAVE TO BE HONEST... I THINK NOTORIOUS SHOULD BE GIVEN ANOTHER CHANCE SINCE CONVICTION IS OFFICIALLY CANCELED, I WISH ALL THE BEST TO HAYLEY ATWELL AND HOPE SHE GETS ANOTHER SHOW SOON, SHE'S VERY TALENTED/BEAUTIFUL AS WELL... PLEASE GIVE NOTORIOUS ANOTHER SEASON, THE FORMAT IS FABULOUSLY FANTASTIC AND CAN'T GO WRONG W/PIPER AS THE LEAD ACTRESS!!!
