.....I love westerns movies, tv shows. I watched this all the way through but it dragged for seven hours. It could have been done in maybe three or four hours. It was ok. But nothing ground breaking. I would probably be more content watching a couple reruns of Gunsmoke or the Virginian etc...

Yes. It's the "Netflix effect". A lot of Netflix and Amazon shows (Not all - but a lot) are missing this magic ingredient that keeps them from greatness. Something HBO rarely has a problem with.
