Disappointed, probably only 3 great episodes in the entire series and the ending was a disappointment
π not cool, I had high hopes .
I must admit though the Native American grandma was awesome.

i liked it a bit more than you, but yeah, the finale is probably the worst of the 7 episodes
shareThe trouble with these Netflix shows are they're meant to be binged, like watching an 8 hour movie. If watched episodically, say one a night or one a week then it really shows up the slow or laborious parts. Personally I really enjoyed Godless, but if long segments of horse wrangling isn't somebody's idea of entertainment then I could see why they would struggle.
shareI feel like people have pretty weird standards these days. "Only 3 great episodes" out of 7 is a disappointment?
shareIf the other four were thought to be bad, sure. That's less than half: failing grade, basically.
Of course, if there were three great and four good, then that's whining.
I personally loved the show a lot. Episodes five and six were a bit lagging, but still good, and the others were great.
Granted: the last sequence of the final episode was disappointingly handled, but the rest of episode seven - the build up and ending - were great.
It tries too hard.
Also, what's with all the Game of Thrones and British Costume Drama casting in this?
It's like they intentionally try to avoid hiring local actors who actually live in this part of the country.
I absolutely loved it. There were weak moments here and there but I enjoyed every episode. To me the first episode is the weakest. Super stoked to see Steven Soderbergh attached to it.
I give it a 9/10
