It's a conversation that newbies would have, Nick is a veteran now as is Katrina. It's like on GA, they still get scared after all these years.
Sometimes a movie or tv show plot is so stupid that only the stupid can understand it.
It's the formula, it's only designed for idiots, so like in cartoons and shows where no one ever ages, the hosts of these shows never get any smarter really, only their egos seem to grow.

Yep and then they go and do something which contradicts the fear. No way would I even try to be sleeping in a place where I genuinely feel at risk!

That's why my favorite episodes are either the intentionally silly season 4 Valentine's Episode of Ghost Adventures, or the poetic Robinson Jeffers episode.
