Everything had been done before
But this seems really like it has and is already being being done,,,,is it simple that the writers are lazy???

Yes even writers are lazy. Actors and producers too. This show is an American copy of the Spanish show "El Ministerio del Tiempo". That's also why they're being sued.
shareHe's not referring to that bad TV show. Every time a show uses time travel, it's the same story. As far as I can go back, Star Trek did this way before. They even tried to do a spin off of Gary Seven from Star Trek which involved this same premise were he fights people who travel in time to try to change it. That was back in 68 or 69.
To say a Spanish TV show is what this is based on is stupid.
I loved Voyagers! In the 80's
shareA series about a group of people who monitor and correct "damage" done by renegade time travelers? Of course it's been done before many times. How about a detective who spends every episode solving a murder case, or the daily activities of a hospital staff? Time travel is a wide open concept with unlimited potential. There's a British series that's managed (with a few breaks) to generate new stories for over 50 years so far.
I'll give this show a try. Whether or not the writers are "lazy" will depend on how they treat the concept. If they choose to copy previous TV or movie plots (they certainly don't need to do so) I'll just quit watching.
