No, it's a remake of "The Time Tunnel" from the 60s.
Unfortunately, modern Hollywood just doesn't understand what made the old shows great and continually botch up remakes.
Still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that THIS one won't be that bad.

Well I think it's a rip off of Outlander! That show is all about time travel

Time travel is a genre. Stories that involve time travel could steal plot details from others written before, but not necessarily. A creative writer can always be original. As with my other theme (zombies, detectives, alien invasion, high school life, war, family sitcom etc) there's always potential for new ideas.
last week i was at wal-mart and saw they had 3 copies of TIMECOP for only $18 dollars

My first impression tonight made me think of Timeline by Michael Crichton. It's been a long time since I read that so I might be wrong but I believe that story involved a group of time travellers chasing another throughout time to prevent history, and subsequently the present, from being altered.
