Anyone notice the characters last names

Last name Logan and Preston (as in Bill S. Preston and Ted "Theodore" Logan) and Rufus Carlin (Rufus was played by George Carlin in Bill and Ted)

Good catch. Perhaps there will be a band at some point called Wild Stallions. 

Someone has already posted this in the trivia section but only mentions Rufus. When I first read that I thought it was a bit of a leap. Now that I see the other names you pointed out here I'm no longer sceptical!! That's pretty cool!
