Wow, I can't believe they said that. Not sure if I should be offended because its' true or be impressed that they had the guts to actually say it?

Weird, unless rthey really wanted to make him look crazy and the character was trying to act crazy

The character is trying to improvise a big distraction at that point. I don't think you can take everything he says seriously under the circumstances.

He's not going to die in prison. He's already scheduled to be relased either next year or the year after.
