Very elegant looking first of all.
Great to actually see some CGI a show needs.

I always wondered about what blew up the HINDENBURG, and they explained that, at least.

Lots of fascinating info, lots of terrifying loose ends at the end of the show (did people survive the second explosion? did the VIPs on the HINDENBURG escape? they don't tell us!)

I love the wardrobe details.

In one of the pilot's final scenes, someone mentions that no one was killed except the reporter and one other, a man (presumably, the bad guy knocked unconscious with the frying pan, in the kitchen.

Very elegant looking first of all.
Great to actually see some CGI a show needs.

It wasn't the worst CGI ever, but I've certainly seem much better.

For example, those explosions weren't entirely convincing.

That said, the show didn't leave any "loose ends" for anyone that was following along.

Also, it remains to be seen if the show will be any good. It seemed to me like a relatively safe pilot. Wasn't terrible by any means... but, didn't wow anyone either.

As a fan of science fiction, and period pieces... I hope it lasts. But, it will need more than just our hope.
